FAQ's
Will they actually be bright enough?
Will they actually be bright enough?
Yes. These use the big C9-style bulbs, not the pinprick LEDs most solar decorations use — bright enough to see from the pavement. They're a decoration, not a floodlight: they light themselves, not your path.
How long do they stay lit, and where should I put them?
How long do they stay lit, and where should I put them?
A full charge gives 8–12 hours of light — enough to cover the evening and still be glowing when you get home late.
To get that, give them an open spot that catches what sun there is: south-facing if you can, away from a wall or a hedge that shades the panel at midday. After a run of grey December days you'll get fewer hours, at the same brightness. Deep shade is the one place they won't work.
How tall are they, really?
How tall are they, really?
27.6 in (70 cm) from the soil to the tip, and 8.7 in (22 cm) of that is the stake that goes into the ground. So about knee height once they're in — path lights shaped like Christmas trees, not porch-sized trees.
How many do I need?
How many do I need?
Two is the minimum and it's also the shape that works: one either side of the door, or two marking the start of the path. Four lines a typical walkway. Six covers a path plus a border.
They look deliberate in pairs and a bit lost on their own, which is why we don't sell them singly.
Will they survive rain and snow?
Will they survive rain and snow?
They're rated IP55 — sealed against rain from any direction. They stand in wet soil all season and get snowed on.
One tip: brush the snow off the little panel at the base when you remember, because that's what charges them. And if one ever stops working, email us: replacement or refund within 30 days.
The numbers, not the promises.
Put them in. Watch them from the street. Decide then.
Give the Glint Trees a full 30 days in your garden — a month of evenings to see what they do to your path.
If they don't bring the glow you pictured, email us and we'll refund you in full.
